| DFA remixes are all terrible. Screw DFA remixes. People who like them are tools. Speaking of Tool, they're going to be in KC today (Fri., Sept. 15th). They suck just like all DFA remixes. No, DFA remixes are not, "Phat." Nor are they anything other then boring, rearranged pieces of feces. Also, the 'new' Chemical Brothers album is not amazing. It's in the vein of all Astralworks artists; they are incredibly ground breaking when they first come on the scene but can never seem to move on and progress.
I got a new desk and it "brings all the boys to the yard. Damn right, it's better then yours."

| I had exciting things planned for this entry but as I listen to the new Sparklehorse, they all seem to be evading me. The first track is quieting me and numbing me to the worries and stresses around me. [the second track has begun]
New job being a barista at La Prima Tazza. This is my only gig as I'm not going to school this semester. KU has a amazing ability to drain money away from me; subsequently, I can't enroll so the plan is to work and work and work and work and sleep and eat?
My motivation / creativity for this post is waning severely. So... [the end]

Moving in is like eating annoyance. But all of my things are in my room and the search to get a bed is on. Our orange-brown-amazing color house in North Lawrence is refreshing compared with the student ghetto. The thing I like most about our house so far is the cast of characters who make up our neighbors. Jerimiah in the back, crack addicts accross the street, a wicken priestess next to them, a techno master next to us and on the other side a church. In addition to this there are a couple other people in the neighborhood. So I now present, "Jon's Registered Offenders / Registered Sex Offenders Near His House."
